I just loaded AutoCAD 18 on a new computer using windows 10. I am having issues when I try to open more than one drawing at a time. The computer switches to the windows home screen. When I use the windows task view option and select one of the open AutoCAD drawings, it will not open. It just jumps back to the windows home screen. If I close any extra open drawings of AutoCAD (just leaving one open) I am able to access the drawings again. I'm not sure if this is a relatively common problem with Windows 10 that AutoCAD has a fix for, or if my situation is unique.
How can the answer be improved? Troubleshooting; Forums; Troubleshooting. Retiring Sync to A360 Drive from AutoCAD mobile. All Autodesk products support Windows 10 but it depends on the version which exact Autodesk products is supported for Windows 10. You are having problems with your AutoCAD-based product and want to know the recommended process for.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Imad, I have been using AutoCAD professionally as a architect for 20 plus years. I am most familiar with the windows 7 environment. I had to purchase a new computer that came with windows 10 and am purchasing a yearly subscription to AutoCAD 18 now. To open the drawings I typically use file open on the big A in the upper left hand corner.
My computer however after a few minutes will not allow me to access the pull down in the upper left hand corner to access standard features like options, open, save, close. It just locks up.
If I open multiple sheets to borrow details it again locks up and the AutoCAD 'window' closes but AutoCAD stays open in the background. I just cannot get to it. My brand new computer with AutoCAD is for the most part unusable.

This is not the case with typical MS Office programs. Just AutoCAD. I think this must be a compatibility issue. I am just wondering if anyone else has run into this and found a solution.
